IFA-Warehouse Returns Procedure

Warranty Returns Period.

Passenger Car and Light Commercial Vehicles – 1 year or 12,000 miles whichever occurs soonest.                     Parts Only – No Labour.

Credits will not be given if the parts show signs of:

1.    Incorrect fitment

2.    Wrong application

3.    Driver misuse.

4.    Contamination or evidence of use of ‘copper’ based grease.

5.    Handling neglect.

6.    Missing components.

Any warranty claims arriving at IFA without an authorisation code, completed warranty claim form and a returns note will result in the claim being ‘unprocessed’ and goods may be returned to you at your cost

Exemptions from the IFA Warranty offer are:

·         If the components have been fitted to a vehicle involved in Driver Instruction.

·         If the components have been fitted to a registered Taxi or Hackney Cab.

·         If the components have been fitted to a vehicle involved in any form of Motorsport.

All rejected warranty claims will be kept at IFA for 14 days after the rejection date. If nothing is heard after this period, the goods shall be disposed of Should the customer wish to arrange collection of the goods, please contact Simon Hambleton.

Warranty Returns Procedure:

1. Identify that the parts have been supplied by IMTFA

2. Ensure that all applicable component parts are present

3. Complete in FULL a IMTFA Warranty Claim form, including detailed REASON for return.

4. Email a list of all part numbers to simon.hambleton@imtfa.co.uk who will come back to you with authorisation code, any returns received without authorisation will be rejected and returned, which is chargeable.

New, unfitted part returns

New Returns Period.

Passenger Car and Light Commercial Vehicles – within 3 months of original purchase and must still be stocked line to the IFA-warehouse.

Credits will not be given if the parts show signs of:

1.    Signs of fitment

2.    Handling neglect.

3.    Contamination by any fluids.

4.    Missing components.

Any new return arriving at IFA without an authorisation code, completed claim form and a returns note will result in the claim being ‘unprocessed’ and goods may be returned to you at your cost.

All rejected new returns the customer shall be contacted by email and shall be kept at IFA for 14 days, after the rejection. If nothing is heard after this period, the goods shall be disposed of. Should the customer wish to arrange collection of the goods, please contact Simon Hambleton.
